I’m a 32 year old Mum to a 6 year old girl. I have been sat on the boundary watching my husband play cricket for the last 15years and now I’ve decided to step over the boundary and teach our daughter that girls don’t need to sit and watch. I’m wanting to prove to people that it’s not too late to start learning something new. I’m sharing my journey on TikTok to hopefully inspire more people to take up sport.
Cricket Background
Started playing softball cricket last year and now beginning my hardball journey. My biggest cricket highlight so far is getting to play at the Utilita Bowl at a women’s w10 festival, it was such an amazing experience to play on the same pitch that I’ve seen my favourite players play on.

How I Heard About Maiden
Social media. Came up on my FYP and when I looked into Maiden and saw the amazing work they are doing for women and girls I was instantly on board!
Why Maiden?
I love the commitment and drive that Maiden have to support women and girls. The understanding that there needs to be cricket equipment and kit to fit the female body so that we can feel confident and comfortable when playing is really something that I also believe in.
