Hello, I’m Aradhya, a passionate young cricketer from Leeds who has been playing the sport for the past four years. I train and compete in U13 boys’ team and U15 girls, where I challenge myself to grow in confidence, resilience, and skill. This year, I’m proud to have been selected for the Yorkshire Under-12 Girls County squad—an important milestone in my cricket journey. As a girl from an Indian background, I’m passionate about representing diversity in cricket and inspiring more girls to take up the sport. I’m ambitious and committed to improving my game, while also sharing my journey to encourage others balancing sport, school, and cultural expectations. My goal is to keep developing, play at higher levels, and make the most of every opportunity that comes my way.
How I Heard About Maiden
I came across Maiden while looking for girls’ cricket clothing this season, and I was instantly drawn to the brand. The quality of their clothing looked really good, and I loved that it’s designed specifically with girls in mind.
