About

I am a wicket keeper and a middle order batter. I play for Helensburgh U16's and 2s, EastKilbride Womens, and Cricket Scotland U16 Eagles. My dream is for one day to play for Scotland Womens. I train hard, play harder, and push myself everyday to be the best I can be!

Cricket Background

I started playing cricket from a young age, with my family in the garden, and then when I was old enough I started playing Junior Cricket at my local club. As I got older I went on to play adult cricket for my club, also joining a women's team at a different club. This season I have trailed and got into Cricket Scotland Western Warriors for winter training, and then went on to be selected and play in the U16 Eagles for this summers super series.

How I Heard About Maiden

I heard about Maiden Cricket through my club president, who sent me a news article on it, so I decided to look up the brand on social media, and when I saw it I instantly thought I had to apply. I did some more research into the brand, and discovered it was exactly what I had needed for so many years. It was fixing all the complaints I had ever had about cricket kit, something I thought nothing could be done about.

Why Maiden?

Maiden cricket isn't just a cricket kit brand, its a community. The group chats allow us ambassadors to chat, give each other advice, and celebrate each other. The publicity allows us to share our sporting journey, and hopefully encourage other girls to do the same. The kit allows us to be comfortable whilst playing, and allows us to perform to our very best.
