I'm Laura - engineer by day, crafter at heart, cat Mum and parent to two small toddlers at all hours and cricketer in my spare time! I live in a little Berkshire village and play for Sulhamstead and Ufton Cricket Club where I also sit on the committee. I'm an away swing bowler (when its going well) and am learning to back myself with the bat.

Cricket Background

I played county age group cricket for Kent through to u17s and played for Cornwall while I was studying there. I then spent some time meandering through some village mens cricket in Berkshire and Hampshire before my break due to injury, COVID and pregnancies. Now back and trying to get fit, bowl fast (with accurate swing) and find the batting confidence I never had as a kid.

How I Heard About Maiden

When I started my instagram account I saw Maiden popping up all over the place and couldn't wait to try out the gear!

Why Maiden?

I was keen to show that an older, larger cricketer deserves great kit too!
