Cricket Background

I started when I was 6 years old because my dad was a coach at the time and recommended it to me. I played for Huntingdonshire when I was 9, then moved to Northamptonshire when I was 14, until I was 18. I have been playing at my home club, Nassington, for 9 years now, and my proudest achievement was captaining the men's 2nd team and becoming the first woman ever to do so for the club at 18.

How I Heard About Maiden

At Nassington, we were interested in getting some new clothing made specifically for the women and girls to wear. When my dad and I were sorting this out for the club, I was recommended to be a Maiden Hero

Why Maiden?

I feel wonderful about being a maiden ambassador and making women and girls feel like cricket is not just a boys’ sport. Just knowing that I get to be a part of improving the recognition that females are getting every day for a sport that they love means a lot to me.
